Brook trout linocut print
Out of stock
This image is a multi-plate linocut print. The difficulty of this technique has to do with registration (alignment) and the planning on how each color blends with the rest; besides the time consuming process of carving 5 plates.
This print is a trial proof T/P. Meaning that I printed a few copies while I was trying to figure out the colors. The punch holes are part of the registration process, you can trim the paper or hide them when you mat it.
I use acid free paper called Stonehenge and oil based inks that won’t fade over time.
