Brook trout linocut print
Out of stock
This is a multi-plate linocut print. The difficulty of this technique has to do with registration (alignment) and the planning on each color blending on top of each other; the time consuming process of carving 5 plates.
This print is a trial proof T/P #6; meaning that I printed a few copies (about 7) while I was trying to figure out the colors. The punch holes are part of the registration process, you can trim the paper or hide them when you mat and frame it.
I use acid free paper called Stonehenge and oil based inks that won’t fade over time.
