This is my pandemic print, I initially traded it for stories. This is a tradition I started about 10 years ago, where I create a print that tells a story of a current situation. In this case, I am reflecting on our lives during a pandemic and how this forced us to slow down and observe. Among all the sad stories about people losing their jobs and the consequences of that, about people getting sick or having to say goodbye to their loved ones through a screen, there are also stories of people helping each other, showing kindness, sharing resources, meeting their neighbors for the first time etc. Time seems to have stopped and yet everything keeps going in a different way.
There are 50 prints and I already gave a way about half of them, the rest are for sale until the edition is sold out.
I carved this image on a linoleum plate and printed it on a heavy weight acid free paper.
The dimensions are 5.5x 7.5″
Thank you and stay safe.
